Both Vinny and The Situation felt awkward around Jionni LaValle over the summer, particularly at Snooki’s baby shower on Jersey ShoreSeason 6, Episode 10: “Shore Shower.” What we didn’t get to see was their private conversation outside, in which they talked out their unwillingness to apologize for hooking up with Snooks while she was going out with Jionni.

Did Vinny and The Situation Ruin Snooki’s Baby Shower?
On Jersey Shore Season 6, Episode 10: “Shore Shower,” the roommates threw a surprise baby shower for then-pregnant Snooki. But Pauly D really described the awkward feeling in the air best: “This is the only baby shower where two of the guys there have to apologize to the baby daddy for bangin’ the fiancee.”
As fans know, Snooki slept with Vinny while she was in Florence, Italy during Season 4. At the time, Snooki and Jionni LaValle were on a break, so technically she didn’t cheat. But still, Vinny felt like Jionni “doesn’t like” him, so he stopped JIonni before walking into the shower to tell him he wanted things to be cool between them.
Then there’s The Situation, who spent the entirety of Season 5 threatening to break up Snooki and JIonni with his story that he hooked up with Snooki while she was dating JIonni. Snooki has vehemently denied Mike’s story for over a year now, but The Situation’s sober apologies did little to mend their friendship. Still, he was at the shower, so it felt like something needed to be said.
